I've got a Palm Treo Pro via the XT trial. It's getting a bit old now. Can't wait to get a droid, but do like my Treo.

Hard decision would be which to give to my wife to replace her old CDMA Samsung that she has to turn off regularly as the screen goes blank. At least the screen has stopped displaying everything mirrored (like backwards). Many a swear word can be heard when she goes to get a new txt Yell

I've used a variety of Nokia mobiles for work in the past, currently I have a 6700 Classic, but I've never actually owned a mobile phone let alone a smart one!  I've got a thing for open source so always thought an Android OS phone is what I'd like when I eventually get my own phone
Cheers

Currently toting aVodafone (Huawei) 715, a gift from a friend when my last nokia died.

This 715 is no smart phone, its predictive text is broken in way only Humpty Dumpty can understand,
the battery has about the same staying power as a 16yo virgin, and the phone has the same sex appeal as Amy Winehouse on a bad day...

Your jedi mind tricks will not work on me, I know the Motorola is the 'droid i'm looking for!

Well, I am looking for a phone for my other half as she does seem to like the HTC Desire I have, while at the same time saying she isn't really interested in phones. I think one of these mornings I will wake up to catch her playing Angry Birds and it would be much better if she could do that on her own phone!

Not sure about a qwerty Android, just adds thickness to it, plus I am used to using Swype now, but hey a free milestone, can't complain if I won it.

Currently using the lowest-spec phone I've ever had: Nokia 1600. Designed for developing countries (and bought right here in NZ...)

 Haha go android!

I love it. It's a beautiful system, allowing literally one-touch access into gmail, youtube, google search, and the android market, which alone makes it awesome. Chuck in the great interface, latest version (ish), and the general quality of the Milestone, and it's not worth missing out.

Anyone who wants a new phone should definitely take a shot at this. I commend Motorola for making such a great phone,

Yep also looking for a phone to get my other half into the 21st century. She is still using an old blue Telecom supplied Nokia 2280 on CDMA...

Hi Mauricio,

I stupidly bought my friend's BlackBerry 9000 to use on pre-pay (because I don't lock into contracts) just to discover that my network provider and RIM have me by my balls controlling what applications including browser as well as what on-line services I have access to. I want to break free from this prison and have been looking at various Android QWERTY smart phones to replace my BlackBerry (a physical keyboard is KING!) but the problem is that I can't afford to buy my freedom. Winning this highly regarded phone would be my ticket to freedom.

Kind regards,

-Andreas

I am unfortunate enough to have a Nokia E75.. on the face of it a good phone unfortunately I have had to turn off all the "smart" features like push email or the battery does not last though the day.
Also coming from a Sony Ericsson the interface is horrific (not that the Sony was fantastic), the keyboard which was one of the main reasons I got the phone is horrible to use.. so all in all. Horrible..

Save me ;-)
