I used to have the Motorola RAZR... served me well, though using an XT SIM didn't prove very sucessfull.
I know I said i loved my LG GW620, but this morning it threw a hissy and now every time i try to do ANYTHING this lovely little message pops up: 'Core.android has unexpectedly stopped working."
It has a button to hit, can't remember what it said as i don't have it with me, but it was something like 'retry' or something. Either way, it doesn't work.
Haha, all this because i wanted to change gmail accounts. never, i repeat, NEVER clear data from the gmail account app in settings unless you're prepared to do a factory reset. Which I'm not.
I know it's the only way to solve the problem, but i want my apps. shame I can't save them to the SD card.
Anyway, would love a device that I could have our shared email address on. My partner wants the LG now, so he can have it =P
please pick me!!! if it works as more incentive, i just got laid off so now CAN'T afford to get a new phone, regardless of the cost. Last day next friday.
Besides, he needs a new phone. He currently has a Nokia 6275i (except he just drowned it so it only works if you put it in front of the heater to the point where it burns your hand. Not good.) Here's what they look like: (not his actual phone, just an example)
I didn't want to make everyone jealous but I'm running the latest iPhone Air. I put a pen in the image for scale. As you can see, it's paper thin and very light weight. Also, it doesn't have the 'no service' problem when you hold the edge like some of the latest iPhones have. It's also 99% recyclable, so Greenpeace will like it.
I had a samsung envy (crap) dropped once, buttons stopped, dropped again a week later, started working again, final drop munted display, replaced with a sony ericson w508, front display doesn't work lol. 2nd gen itouch showing its age, seems its time to switch to android.
I have an old Nokia 6101 that I believe was found in a dinosaur's cave and sold to me on Trade Me. It would be nice to progress into the 21st century with the Telecom XT Motorola.
SymbianOS on the E71-3 I have now is soooo old school... but my fiancee will still love it compared to her current P.O.S. Samsung candybar phone. (I wonder if she'll try to claim the Motorola Milestone as hers... Gah! I'd better plan my defences!)
I have a pair of nokia 2730s on slingshot/vodafone. contract is up soon so I will have to start paying a monthly. Lets just say that it was tollerable when free.
Anyway, I need an XT phone to port my number I use off to, and android would be a nice improvement over an aging S40 not smart phone, that cant even have the display brightness changed or put a call on speaker if it comes in when you are in the browser.
