Oh, definitely. It was interesting for me because I was the target audience for the originals and it never occurred to me that other demographics might not find any connection with it.

Sorta kinda. Their life experiences are different to a lot of kids but their interests and motivations are fairly similar to their cousins who have more "normal" lifestyles.

It's my 12 year old daughter who asked to see them. My 15 year old son isn't that keen.

I guess we will see how they like them.

My kids are sweet and innocent and find violence and foul language, and suspense etc quite distressing, I am fine with that.

They only watched the Avengers series a few months ago.

Princess Bride gave them both nightmares for a couple of weeks.

Goldman was a bit like that. Brilliant writer and very funny but with an edge.

Adventures in the screen trade is one of my favorite books about Hollywood. It's funny, interesting and fairly nasty.

In Europe, they’ve introduced rules that require the tops on plastic drinks bottles to be captive so that they can be recycled together.

Every NZ recycling point I’ve ever been to requires tops to be removed.

I foresee a standards issue as well as one of curiosity: how come Europe can recycle tops from bottles without separation and we can’t do it at all?

Not to worry, the UK will align with New Zealand because you can’t have those pesky folks in Brussels telling them what to do.

There is separation eventually. The bottle and lid is shredded and the cap plastic floats on water while the PET 1 plastic sinks.

There are some non kerbside recyclers that take the caps.
