The audio via TV3 DVB-T just doesn't seem to be as 'rich' as the ads. Sounds very flat and constrained. As soon as the ads come on, my HT system seems to come to life.

I notice that they say HD Stereo so I take that to mean 2 channel not 5.1.. but your correct it does sound flat. Good coverage though very little ad breaks..

The ac3 stereo off d2 is good. Hardly tell it's 576i too

have to eat my hat on abusing 3 though. Got it right, shame it's taken 4 years. But podium debarkle is yet to be saved

I don't think there's any AC3 on the D2 feed. It's just stereo PCM audio+ 2 channels of effects/coord.

I'm seeing more ads than racing right now.... is this a hint I should be getting the washing in, cooking the dinner and cleaning up the living room, getting in the firewood, lighting the fire and getting read for an ad free finish?!
