lol, all this waiting all weekend, constant ads on TV, waiting for the big ?

Just after the counter run out, the suspense, last few seconds, what can it be...

Its the launch of their website down.

Anyway bit disappointing after all that lol.

Still down almost 25 minutes after the 9am deadline to ?, I guess it is still ? then.

Well I've got a couple of pages to load and it looks just as disappointing as everyone's been predicting. A "blackout sale" where the couple of things I'm vaguely interested in (and have got the page to load) are ~10% or more above their sale prices just 2-3 weeks ago and even those prices 2-3 weeks ago weren't that good.

Sounds disappointing, 45 in and the website is still not responding. If for any reason it starts to work, people that were wanting to look at 9am will likely be getting on with their day by now.

Seems the best sales are around boxing day. And the odd item that maybe randomly reduced though out the year that will appeal to you

I just went to see what the prices where.

I was very disappointed in the prices of the Large TVs which I was looking at.

The Prices they had for the Large TV's where more expensive than what they have been in the same store in the past as far as I could tell from price spy.

waste of time, you have to lift these black signs to see the special deals and none were that special. `15%
of Headphones , they had cheaper headphones a week ago. i went to noel leeming and got 40% off the ones i wanted.

Harvey Norman has a sale every week.

Briscoes too - although there have been occasions where it has been worth it. I got a cast iron pan recently for $69. I checked everywhere for them, in general they are at least $160.

So pretty good.

It's likely the same marketing stunt.. To get you into the store (read as: purposeful website outage)

I wonder if there is a loophole in the fair trading act that allows this?  I mean, what would be considered the 'normal' price if the price continues to be rotated on a routine basis like that.
