stephen waller: Hello robscovell

NO in answer to your querie, i am not the Stephen Waller you went to school with, i have lived in West Yorkshire all my life, and never visited Worthing dude

If you've never visited Worthing, count yourself lucky! In fact, if you were thinking of going there, don't.

Go to Brighton instead.

Worthing's a sour mix of old people's homes and boy racers.

The only *good* thing Worthing has going for it is its electronic junk shop.

But back to Yorkshire. I know a guy in Leeds. His name's Edmund -- can't remember his last name. Do you know him?

Rob

Yeah well that christian guy's post was quite interesting. It definately jive's with a christian perspective.

I couldn't help but notice though that other species on the planet seem to have no trouble with walking around showing their balls or whatever bits they happen to have. It clearly seems to be a made-up humans-only problem this being offended by sex thing.

But anyways back on topic. Yeah many a people are offended by different things. The only solution is conflict, really. By that I mean arguments..people getting offended..actually talking to each other and coming up with new ethics and values which actually jive. People need to hear 'sorry, but you are wrong' at least some time in their lives.

...Instead of what we do now and pretending to respect other people's viewpoints. Because if a guy believes in something, he thinks the other person is wrong if he doesn't believe it too. Its just logic. I'm not a fan of this 'respect everyones beliefs' thing because well...some people have really stupid beliefs. And they vote.

And like the Federation's prime directive - its a hypocrisy. Remember, kids - 'Respect everybody's opinion' is a directive.
