No spaces all brackets so make sure you have the full open close, ( did it that way as an example ). Plus the end of the video URL. So its ID after the watch?=

Love fishing, and catching. Usually off the back of Motuora Island (off Wenderholm), or in the channel between Motuora and Saddle Island.

Either drift or anchor up. Frozen squid baits, or fresh kahawai (when caught) or mullet ( from Pak n Save). Plenty of berley.

Couple of rods each - one in Mr Rod Holder with a ledger rig and circle hooks just bouncing off the bottom - usually successful, and a lightweight braid n stick combo for the touchy-feely fishin.

Haven't been out since November, as we cracked the ply hull on a rough day, so it's been upside down being repaired with new "sisters", and rotten bits cut out and new glass/epoxy applied. Up to the finishing layers of epoxy, then paint/gel coat. Then the inside cabin area needs to be refurbished. Sheesh !

Hope to be back in the water later this year.

I prefer the gentlemanly pursuit of fly fishing for trout and salmon. dry fly only, of course - lures are cheating.

Particularly due to the odd and inexplicable rule here that prevents trout from being sold. Not one person I have asked has managed to give me a logical and sane reason for that.

Allow trout to be sold and you'll create a commercial fishery for trout.

So what?

There's one for salmon. Oysters. Mussels.

Both the USA and the UK have world class trout fishing as well as commercially reared trout sold to restaurants and supermarkets - the two things are certainly not mutually exclusive.

I used to do a bit of fly fishing myself, tied my own, dry and nymph on the smaller streams and occasionally downstream on larger rivers or lakeshores.

Also involved in enforcing the rules for a while.

There's already plenty of poaching going on. Don't need any reason to create more.

Reservoirs are excellent places to stock with trout and sell day tickets for fishing. Makes the water companies a fortune in the UK!
