Lurch: I keep/collect consoles and Amiga gear. Other items I tend to give away. On the hunt for a Commodore 64C with floppy drive/monitor at the moment :-)

Haha! My first gaming PC!
If I'd kept it the 30 years, how much would it be worth?

The Amiga or 64C? 64C clean with disk drive about $150. Amiga 500 standard anywhere from $60 to $550 depending on what it comes with. A1200 anywhere from $120-$2000 depending on what it comes with :-)
I have an A500 plus which I've expanded it as far as I really want to go, painted black/black keyboard. Running a 030, using a SCSI card reader for the HDD and a HxC floppy emulator for adfs (switching to a gotek at some point). Probably worth around the $500 mark with all the mods and hardware I've put into it.
The A1200 has been expanded a lot, I've put it in a tower with an 060. Custom everything (too many mods to list) and up until I got my Pegasos (yes it's spelt with an O) was a daily use machine for internet/emails etc. Probably all up $1800-$1900. Would I sell, don't think so :-)
Really want a 64C and then I'd purchase a SD2IEC or something similar.
Does old tech include hobby grade 80's RC's too? ;-)

SepticSceptic: Couple of years ago, biffed a pile of TRS80 Floppy drives, manuals, mags, as well as a semi-working Dick Smith System80. May have been worth something to someone. Asked in a couple of related forums, no-one was interested.
Grabbed the stepper motors from the drives though. As well as the clunky linear transformer PSU. And the steel cases.
Hmm, wasn't that much left to throwout after all ... The hoarding instinct is strong in this one ...
