Also good luck selling a container full of a single size and color of shoes in a market as small as nz. If you want to start mixing and matching container contents then expect to pay a lot more for the goods.

There is no point sitting on a forum complaining about such things.  Either move to a country where you think you will be better off overall, purchase elsewhere (eg over the internet) where you think you will get a better price, or accept you live in a remote country where the prices are higher.

BTW I do not condone the high prices in this country.  I feel for my situation living in NZ is overall beneficial for me so I live with the situation (and purchase online wherever practical).
