I think probably only around 4 or 5 since a bricky nokia back in about 1999. Solid phone - no SMS, just phone. It was on 025, before Telecom did SMS.
Bought a couple of newer Nokias after that, then a couple of others - I can't remember as I have had work provided phones since about 2007.

Work ones have been a Blackberry Pearl (loved that phone), A Nokia smart phone (keyboard one - E7?), iPhone 4, 4S, 5 and now a 6.

Jase2985: I dont really think work phones come under the "how many have you owned" title :)

I would hate to think how much money some people have spent on them. I have never owned a top of the line model, and the most ive spent on one is about $450.

Work phones are "owned" if self employed.

by the company, :) there is a difference, yes you may own the company but they are still "work" phones

own the company own the assets.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

logo: Camera is an important consideration as my phone has effectively replaced my compact digital camera.

It saddens me when I see some of the dreadful phone camera photos posted on Facebook by people who don't own a proper camera because they think a phone camera is good enough. In many years' time a lot of those people are going to seriously regret not having taken any decent photos of their kids growing up.

ISTM that you can take OK pictures with a cell phone 'some of the time', as in, with ideal conditions.  I've only ever felt happy to upload one image take with a cell phone to my flickr stream, but I rarely bother uploading images nowadays anyway.

It has to be said that quite a lot of PP went into this picture, but it was taken with my iPhone 5s

Was then a nokia loyal for probably 10 years until I got my iphone 4s which I still have now.

About 12 since 1999.  I also had a Nokia 2110.  Used in the Marlborough Sounds, where coverage was patchy at best it was great.

12 includes a bunch of company phones, and about 3 or 4 cheapies I use on the boat that have a short lifespan.

I am currently on my 6th (Nexus 4), since 1999 when I got my first

I can't decide if I liked the simpleness of my Nokia 3210 or the Nokia 6234 (it was a sad day when that broke), or my current Nexus 4
