I hope it's just the beginning of the end. There're many loose ends, not the least of which is the GP who provided patient information to something/someone. There may have been patient consent, but in healthcare, even with patient consent there're some no go areas. Some government agency should be chasing this up...

The break even due to the weird communication bandwith of them will not be as high ... as a million. Maybe max 48-64 units. So the new Zach will cost only 320 US$ ... this might be the amount of money they collected until now ... ;-)

CPU: 4× ARM Cortex-A53, 1.2GHz
RAM: 1GB LPDDR2 (900 MHz)
Storage: microSD

Or one of pretty much any modern octa-core phone.

RPi Compute module would be a better option if you wanted to cluster.

I read that first reply to freitasm as either sarcastic and condescending so he isn't the only one. That's why I'm pleased to to hear that wasn't what you intended.

I can also see why your discussion is considered off-topic. Although the topic mentions includes the term "super computer", it is specifically about only one "super computer" called "Zach" rather than any supercomputer.

The discussion of "medical diagnosis's" are on topic because Zach is being used for this purpose. Perhaps you didn't follow the hyperlink in the original post - as in the quote below - which links to an article about the Zach the super computer being used in this way.
