You can use your countdown card via stocard, the checkout scanners pick up my iPhone6s and 8 i just pass the phone to the checkout operators and they scan the image from stocard

Can confirm this as well. The scanners on the Self Checkout (& at the Checkouts manned by Checkout Operators) are setup so that they recognize the barcodes for OneCards.

 

Just make sure that you use your OneCard Number to make the barcode - not the AA Number/Barcode as that doesn't obviously work :D - Got a mate who works at Countdown and regularly has customers who use their phones for OneCard

That's excellent news. This hasn't always worked and they've previously just typed the number from my phone screen. Gave up trying many many moons ago.

You realise we can still make out the number of your card using a barcode scanner ;)
