Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
What gets me going, are the listing of bikes or shoes that people put up and cant even be bothered to clean the item. Are people just too lazy nowadays. Also, gets me going is the stupid people who cant read the questions asked and re-ask the same question, what are you you thick or something....

Yuck, who would buy used shoes?
There are some real mongs on TradeMe.

Me.
Ha, I have some old ones lying around, I'll list them for you . You might need to fumigate on delivery though.
I recently had a bike listed on TM - sold with Buy Now.
Cash was being brought at pick up.
No questions were asked.
On pick up a massive and slow inspection of the bike ensued...lots of questions about minor blemishes and the like (this was a $1000 [new] kids MTB that I sold for $300 [2 years old and barely used]).
Needless to say, there was a moment when I thought they weren't going to go through with the sale...despite a Buy Now being a contract to buy.
Really annoying. If you're going to press Buy Now, make sure you've asked all the questions first and maybe inspected the item first!!

Better that they do inspect on pickup ,than take it home and then say there are problems with it and they then want to return it.

I'd much rather they come around and inspect it, THEN press buy now and pay up. Buy Now is a contract.

Thanks all for reminding why I avoid social media...!

I wonder how many people consider forums to be "social media". I'd certainly been using them for years before ever hearing the term; when I hear "social media" I think of Facebook, not forums.
With that said, what's wrong with just "communication"? That's something I noticed on my phone; the Hangouts app is categorised as "social media" even though it's effectively just a texting app.
Edit: Oops, a bit off topic there; I thought this was the Annoys You thread :)

I sold a 10yr old washing machine a while back, it had a mechanical issue which i described and had a $1 reserve. The thing sold for $10 .
The guy collected it and started complaining about some rust 'scuff' marks on the side .... What was he expecting on a broken 10 year old washing machine?

It's not just on TradeMe (and Facebook). I deal with people every day that are small business owners and I often wonder how some of them manage to get out of bed every morning.
