Little worried it hasn't been mentioned yet so: Jim Browning - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBNG0osIBAprVcZZ3ic84vw - Fighting the good fight against scammers and getting them locked up.

Mark Rober - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY1kMZp36IQSyNx_9h4mpCg - Ex-NASA engineer, with various different topics.

Also Kurzgesagt - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsXVk37bltHxD1rDPwtNM8Q - Very educational

Worthy mentions:

Clickspring: Do yourself a favour, start from the start and just watch them all. An absolutely amazing craftsman. After a long hiatus, he sorta seems to be back into production with more on the Antikythera mechanism.

I don't remember how I discovered these but I'm glad I did. These series provide 10-15 minute episodes with graphics and film clips. These were original posted weekly to cover the corresponding week from the past. Commentary is provided by Indy Neidell that is both informative and entertaining.

Resnick:

Just a couple of random ones I enjoy:

Rick Beato:

https://www.youtube.com/user/pegzch

My main watching tends to be around music focused stuff so Rick's channel is one I watch, very informative guy. A couple of other ones are:

Ben Crowe of Crimson Custom Guitars

Glenn Fricker over at Spectre Sound Studios

There's a bunch more (such as Dylan Talks Tone, Phillip McKnight and BigD Guitars and Andre Antunes) but I don't tend to watch them as much.

Someone I've been watching lately is Doug Helvering, who has a vlog called The Daily Doug. He's a classical composer who, amongst other things, does reaction videos where he loosely breaks down modern music (especially rock/metal) and talks about what's going on in the songs. A couple of priceless reactions are Lateralus (Tool) and Pisces(Jinjer).

Can I ask

How much time do you spend watching YT each day ?
Will all these great YT channels , and great content, is time spent watching YT getting out of control ?

I watch YT instead of TV now, its become a habit Im locked into . At least an hour every day . Often more .

I watch more YouTube than any other form of media. I don't subscribe to Netflix or any other equivalent providers (Amazon, Disney etc...).

An ATV 4K with a DNS service so I can use FTA apps from NZ, AU and the UK gives me all the entertainment I need alongside of YouTube. I do pay for YouTube premium for an add free experience however, but that's only a few dollars a month if you do some research on how.

I choose to watch YouTube as I can find content that I like to watch. It doesn't matter what you're into someone has a channel and is producing content for you.

The amount, or the ads themselves?
