I think we are well behind the 8 ball when it comes to this though. Something like this cost should not be the limiting factor.

Apparently the people working at my council may use body cams from now on. The council just recently announced that council workers have them now. Not sure why police wouldn't have them by default.

Countdown staff, well retail in general I guess, get a lot of abuse. And after what happened in Dunedin it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they get them rather sooner than later.
