Looks like there is a problem with the "related topic" thing thats just been added to the forums.

Replies are not added to the thread being read and intended for the reply, but to the last thread in the list of suggested related topics instead.

In my opinion the ADRs are there top prevent foreign car companies from competing in Ozz unless they go  to quite often great expense to comply.  I remember a couple of years ago the new mini was band in Ozz unless  BMW  swapped the speedo and taco  over so that the speedo was in front of the driver.  Unfortunately we ended up with the same barsidized version here for a year or two. Next item on their agenda.  Turn indicator must be on the rite of the steering wheel,  transmission selector  must be on the if not already??   I remember a year or two when I was over there a guy bought in some herses from the US to use.  It cost him  A$35K each  to make them conform the ADR..
