Satch: It would be interesting to see the rankings re-hashed by removing one sentence posts under 8 words long.  I've noticed that one of the top posters consistently posts very short replies, often quite critical and snappy.

JohnR whom you're referring to, does have a very terse style at times it's true...

But his knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile is legendary on GZ, and we would all be much the poorer if he decided to stop spending his time here.

So ... don't give him a hard time OK?

Please point me to where I mentioned anything about johnr OK?

I believe it was RSCole who made the connection:

rscole86: Well since johnr is a major sponsor of geekzone, we have to keep him up there ;)

However, in hindsight, that may have been purely tongue-in-cheek.  But I don't recall any other of the top posters using a style which you described as:

...often quite critical and snappy.

Apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick here Embarassed

I feel that this list is very representative of the people who are providing help and support consistently to the other users and I praise them
for that!

"I*" made it to number ten on two of the lists, yikes. Game over for me I'm afraid. I'm saying goodbye to this forum.

Due to reasons I'm sure some are familiar with, I've resigned from Geekzone. It's also a fitting time as my Qtek 1010 just passed-away this morning in a puff of smoke, using this device was the main reason I started using this forum a long time back.

Enjoyed most of my time having a presence here and some of the people I have met have been awesome.

You didn't seem in such a bad mood during the Geekzone pizza last month... Was the pizza that bad?

I'm very sorry to hear that Paradoxsm. Are you serious, or just kidding?

It won't be the same without you.

Cheers,
Grant.

*gasp*  Does this mean I cannot claim Geekzone as a hobby, now?  Surely not making it on the list(s) qualifies me ...
