Crea: Kiwi FM :)

...sometimes "Radio Live" if I can't buffer the 3news channel's late evening news :)

Kiwi FM is great for catching a decent dose of the TV news, as it happens I'm on the homeward bound commuter crush when this comes on, and if I time it right I can get 40 odd minutes of it before the signal fades out. But the music breaks drives me nuts - it's always the same artists. Always !!! no new up and coming artists, no back catalogs.

I do enjoy Radio Hauraki's "Household from Hell", every Tuesday and Thursday morning, around 7:40am / 8:40 am. I make a point of tuning in at that time. Usually after the first song after the half-hour news highlights.
There is also Barry the Bum, Ranjit from the Burning Poo-hole, and The Vice President from the South Buller RSA. They are either on Hauraki or the Rock - I flick quite regularly flick between them,  depending on the advert levels. I hate adverts that yell. That's probably most of them.

yeah, few Kiwis already told me that :) ...but, I don't mind because I don't pay much attention... I just like hearing something different :)

Radio New Zealand National, mostly for Jim Mora in the afternoon, Music 101 on the weekend, and every once in a while I hear Freitasm do an interview on This Way Up.

Linuxluver: Radio New Zealand.

If you want a high signal and low noise ration, you can stream Radio New Zealand from www.radionz.co.nz though they may block access from overseas IP addresses due to content licensing concerns.

Alternatively, RNZ is also accessed via the "Wunder Radio" app on iPhone and Android.

Hi,

Just to clarify, our live streams are available everywhere without restriction.

On the very rare occasion that content cannot be webcast, the live stream carries other content.

cheers,
