When i sat my restricted many moons ago, I got pinged because I didnt accelerate to 100KM fast enough at the Manukau on ramp to the motorway.

Now, anyone who knows the on ramp to the southern motorway at Manukau (or at least how it was a few years ago), there is no way to take that on ramp at high speed - its a huge fricking loop. Unless you're drifting around it........

I was rather p***ed off at the instructor when he said that was the main reason he failed me.... along with taking too long to cross Great South Road in rush hour traffic at a give way controlled intersection.... again, anyone who knows Gt South Road at rush hour.... crash or not to crash. I should have caused an accident, I might have passed ;)

The second time I sat my restricted, I was taken on a different route by a different instructor and passed with no problems.
