I could do with a new android phone, my trackball on my HTC magic has a mind of its own, moving by its self is really annoying and sometimes renders it unusable.
I have a G1 (plus a few others) but could really do with a Milestone for dev purposes which would be available for use at each Auckland Android Dev meeting!
I have an iPhone 4, and as an Android testing device I have a Motorola Milestone. I'd love to win a Motorola Milestone to replace my older Android ph... wait, what?
The Milestone is a great phone, and I used it solidly for a week on Telstra in Melbourne, with a LOT of data and voice use. Great phone, and really quick on the XT network.
What can I say, I'm a sucker for Apple's marketing. Help me break this addiction to the form-over-function gadgetry which the folks in Cupertino have me craving for. Android is the substitute I need.
I'm currently using my iPhone 3G as little more than a paperweight, following the crippling iOS 4.1 update. If I was to be swayed by some Android goodness, now would be the time. And XT looks to be much more affordable for us students.
I am using an IPhone 3GS and the multitasking operating system seems to have affected its stability. A lot more crashes than before am really getting sick of not being able to see Flash. Definately in favour of using a more open system.
While I currently have an HTC Touch Pro 2 on XT, I've always wanted to explore Android, even going so far as to run one of the cooked ROMs on the TP2 for a bit, but it was a dog and didn't really support the hardware.
And while I'm trying my darnedest to win a Windows Phone 7 from somewhere, there still seems to be more Android buzz than WinPho7.
At the end of the day, I'll just be happy to get a phone that doesn't sieze up when you try to unlock the screen, doesn't freeze when you try to make a call and doesn't spend the whole day closing down the app you're using because it's run out of memory....
I had a Iphone 3g for a while until my wife 'claimed' it. Don't think I'll be seeing that again anytime soon........ So help a poor battered husband out with a nice new Milestone....
