scuwp: Now back to the OP....
I read yesterday that Telecom ( at least as of late yesterday afternoon) had received no notifications, don't know about the other ISP's. Maybe there won't be the huge rush after all?

Where did you read that?

dougierydal: It will be fascinating to see what Copyright Holders go after. I mean are they really going to want to have a go at someone who downloads an episode of a TV programme that isn't shown here?
Or whatabout a popular TV in the States like Fringe, which TVNZ sticks on at 1030pm.
I guess it's only illegal if someone complains about it.

I'd tend to think that it will be recently released movies, albums and software that is likely to be targeted. And that older movies, older music and TV in general won't be top of their list.
Or maybe I'm wrong and first infringment notice might be for 1985's Teen Wolf, 1988's Tone Loc's CD 'Lo-ced After Dark or 1981's Series 1 of the Smurfs...
Who knows.
thoughts?
