Well tonight I intend to watch episode 9 of Homeland and I agree with some of the others a little slow to start but is really taking off. I have no idea why people are comparing this show to 24 as they're not a lot alike and I found 24 to be utter over the top garbage.

As for the other series mentioned on here Person of Interest is pretty good but I also agree that it seems to be starting to get to be much the same each episode and for a show that at first I thought was really good it has dragged off a bit and will be surprised if it gets a 2nd season.

The Walking Dead a friend and I had a discussion about it recently and how this second season although really drags at times finsihes fantastically (well mostly I was not a huge fan of all that transpired in the season finale) but it still really ramped up from how half the season was (as my friend described it Zombie Famrville).

Then there's Once Upon a Time I really ejoyed the start of this but the person I watch nearly all my shows with (my teenage brother in law) he found himself not enjoying it so never really have gotten round to watching some more. 

A similar type show that is based on Fairy Tale stuff that came out about the same time is Grimm based around The Brothers Grimm's stories this is a little bit of a softer Supernatural and worth a watch too if you liked either Once Upon a Time or Supernatural type stuff.

Yet another similar show is Lost Girl which is based around a Succubus who is trying to find out more about her past and to find a place to fit in amongst the world of the Fae.  Think sexy Supernatural hehe.

For those that want realism in their shows lets be realistic it isn't going to happen as realistically most of the situations that these shows put on for us would be mired down into a space where most would simply get so bored after a eipsode or two it won't be around to see the end. It's about what hopefully will spin a overall buck and that's why movies like Scott Pilgram won't get a sequel and Piranha 3d already has one green lit.

Now for upcoming shows roll on April and the return of Game of Thrones and later on (hopefully this year) Boardwalk Empire.
