Does that mean it's posted earlier than the print date given?

According to the staff member it’s not printed/posted yet that’s why they’ve asked to wait until tomorrow to apply for Nz passport.

For those applying for their passports on/after the print date, how are you verifying your identity in RealMe without a NZ Citizenship Certificate of Passport?

Your only option would be to have your photo taken at one of the participating store(which is AA).
Please bear in mind department is taking nearly or more then 10-15 days to process your photo/ID verification & to activate your realme ID.

I’ve just applied for my NZ passport today using my realme ID. According to them standard applications are taking longer then usual processing time.

I believe mass gathering won’t be allowed during Red & Orange light so in my opinion, Ceremonies will resume in Green light only.

I realised I could use my PR Visa as an ID document and we've been to the AA this morning for our photo.

Rmani:

I guess there might be delays as we approach the Christmas break.

BTW, my certificate was printed on Friday and it arrived today. Though I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive but got it in one business day.

An overview of the timeline so far

10th Dec 2020 - Applied online in Wellington

20th October 2021 - Asked to confirm the personal details

2nd November 2021 - Application got approved

26th November 2021 - Certificate printed

29th November 2021 - Received the certificate.

Have applied for the passport today. I will update once I get any updates.

Received the passport yesterday. Guess it takes 10-12 working days for a standard application.

Thanks, everyone for the inputs/support.

We live in a rural location which can take a couple of days longer but fingers crossed.  Have a great Christmas.
