minigopher17: With all the fancy terminology these days, they call that sidebar thing in Windows 8 a Charms bar. How feminine sounding...

The disk packaging also looks like a massive pack of Tampons.

There once was a man names Jon, who has been using XP for too long
So he went to the store, but windows 7 was no more

He searched left, right, and head to toe, and found Windows 8 to be seriously pro!

Do i win?

I don't need this, because this year is going to be the year Linux conquers the desktop.

Why wouldn't I want something to make my Vista and ME installed machines feel dirty?

The only good thing about Windows 8 Pro is that, being the pro edition, buying it also gives you the right to a free upgrade to Windows 7.

Unless you have a touch screen, Windows 8 is *vile*. Still, after trying it, I have to hand it to MS. They managed something in 10 minutes that Apple hadn't managed to do in 10 years - make me want a Mac!

However, if MS follows it's usual Windows cycle for various editions (good, awful, good, awful, good, awful.....) Windows 9 might be a good 'un.
