Currently building the last wheeled crane that was released.
Is that the new blue crawler crane? or a different one?
This one. Had it for a while, and hadn't built it

Ah yes, its a nice set, I almost purchased it when I picked up Set #8275. I am tempted to pick up the new Mobile Crawler Crane #42042
Been looking to get one of these, for my son of course. ;)
Bit exxie though

Be the first technic set I have purchased.
networkn: Who is the cheapest retailer for lego in NZ? I missed out on getting my Son the City police station which was 35% off the other day at warehouse, gutted, I'd like to get him one before July.

I was looking at one of these in the box at Toy World today, it looks to be a very nice set, especially after seeing some of the video reviews on the net.
There is a giant bucket wheel excavator coming out later in the year, bit worried how much it will cost (Set 42055).

I've found that waiting for specials 20%+ off through most shops is best.
There is a web store betatraders.co.nz that I came across recently, they look to have a good range, yet to purchase any sets through them though.
Well, my Lego collection has grown a tiny bit. Now own Wall-e, Overwatch Dorado Showdown, and 6 of the more recent Speed Champion cars and will be picking up the GTR one soon as ToyCo have it.
My wife owns the VW Beetle and is wanting the VW Kombi now along with The Flinstones set.
And she says computers are a expensive hobby :D

I can relate.
The NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander just arrived this morning. That'll go in the "To Be Built" stack along with the Saturn V. Waiting for a rainy day when my to do list isn't too long.... ha.
The Porsche 911 RS is still my all time favourite for an epic build that took me several months.
My Daughter has a significant number of the Minecraft sets and there's always something new for the younger nephews and niece for Xmas.
Lego has really reinvented itself over the past few years after nearly having to shut down. So many tie in sets and with the Ideas branch being crowd sourced for ideas, there's really no limit to what they could come out with now.
I have found that I tend to build by the book these days as that's the reason I got any particular set for and a lot of the sets have very specific pieces now, but there's still plenty of scope for creativity with most sets.
Also if you aren't too bothered about branding, AliX has many "very similar" products for significantly less money. Quality is a little bit variable as always, but for the most part they work.
I looked seriously at the roller coaster model on runout before xmas, but even on special it was $300 and I can't really justify that for something I'd build on time.

My Saturn V is here on my desk at work. The Lunar Lander is currently at home, but my wife detests "things" so there is a very real chance it will migrate to work as well.
iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

Was actually looking at some of that last night. I'll probably grab a set just to see how it does compare :)

I haven't ventured into that market as yet other than ordering some minifigs for D&D purposes. A friend of mine has picked up some of the more prohibitively expensive sets in alternative form and they seem to be close enough.

Visiting the Lego store at Newmarket over the break I was super amused to see the official Friends Central Perk set.
Not surprised to see it sold out in the next week when I visited again
Yeah, its been a popular one :)
Adding pics of my builds as I go.....
