I currently am using two external hard drives as my backup/media storage. It's rather annoying when my sister or other family member want to access some of the media on there cos I have to go find something to transfer it onto and give it to them. Having a NAS would make things so much easier in that regard, and allow me to take backups of my family's computers so if they screw things up they won't lose their data.

My media PC was sitting on the floor when a totally unexpected flood came visiting back in March. We're still waiting for the insurance settlement, which will give us around $350 to replace all the tuner cards and the 2 x 2 terabyte hard drives...  So a NAS would definitely be useful! My current solution is a portable backup drive...

Currently using a PC as a Media server with a bunch of internal and external drives (about 14TB worth) so a NAS would be a lovely addition cos you can never have too much disk space :)

My current storage solution has no internet, power or lighting (natural light during the day). It is also only open between 7am-8pm.

No current NAS solution either, I have to drag and drop my files to a USB stick then play it on the Mac mini to TV! A NAS solution would solved the problem haha :p

No current NAS here either, using External USB drives to store media. Using the PC they are connected to as a Plex and iTunes server. This NAS could do both and save the PC from having to be on.

Here is one of aforementioned drives (too dark and horrible under desk to get the other...

My current solution is a D-Link DNS 320 with 2 x 1TB drives in RAID 1 formation.

It a bit meh but does the job!

Thing is Im running out of storage and would love a nice new box to keep the Dlink company!

The force is strong with this one!

No current backup or storage solution apart from the hard-drive in my PC. Sooner or later I will lose everything when the drive dies.

My existing solution is simply cloud storage shared among all family members - it would be good to have a dedicated NAS like this for faster and easier access.

Don't have a NAS solution right now. I copy my computer files to another removable hard drive for backup or copy to USB sticks. Be nice to copy to a central NAS server.
