I have some Powerhaus NiMH AA cells that I purchased in 1999 and which that I now use in my Canon flash. Surprisingly, well astonishingly actually, they still seem to be going strong.

I had a strange thing happen today.  I tried to use one of the La Crosse AAs that came with one of their expensive chargers, and it had no charge, and I am sure I charged it just a week ago.  I haven't tested it by charging again, but I absolutely didn't expect it to fail when just a couple of months old.

andrewNZ: I use imedion/powertech

Good pricing from recharged.co.nz

Thanks for mentioning recharged.co.,nz

After some appalling customer service at another supplier, I was looking for another place to buy batteries. Recharged fits the bill.

I imagine it's good to great, and better than the chargers that most people have. Their marketing material is certainly good.

Don't know if anyone's interested but Sanyo Eneloop batteries were on clearance at our local countdown last week (all sizes except the aaa 4pk), so may be worth checking when you next get nagged to go shopping so kids can get their zoo animal cards.

Is this the price?

I don't know what they normally sell for.

Hmm
They were definitely on the clearance rack, I have just dug out my receipt, it was last monday

Eneloop Rechargeable aaa 2pk $8

Although it does say promotion rather than clearance on the receipt

That's about the normal price, I think. I tend to buy them overseas, they're pretty expensive here.

I just got an email about a new Klarus Charger, CH4S http://www.batteryjunction.com/klarus-ch4s-charger.html

It seems to have some nice functions but I've yet to see a review on it.
