Presso: Emmerdale farm :-( , did love this clip from Bottom some time back.

Would you believe Bottom was 20 years ago?
This would have to be on my 'all time best of' series - Always makes me laugh out loud every time I watch even after all these years. That and "Father Ted" - oh - and "The IT Crowd".

I stuck it out for the entire series of True Blood. I really enjoyed the first season but it just went downhill from there.

I don't subscribe to rubbish YouTube channels or watch a TV series that isn't good.  But my brother (my 21 year old brother) watches "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".

Quite strange to me.  Apparently a lot of adults like that show for some reason.

Just watched the latest episode of Heroes Reborn last night. Oh, the humanity! It just gets worse and worse. Why can't I stop?

None. If I find a TV series to be terrible, I stop watching it. Examples that spring to mind for me are:
Arrow.
The Flash.
Lost.
Agents of SHIELD.

Probably plenty of other soon forgotten examples that I've forgotten.

Agents of SHIELD actually got pretty good towards the end of the first season.

That is the problem. Mr Robot was good for me until around episode 6. It seemed the story stopped developing. I still watched the rest. I will watch the next series.

The overall tv trend is good pilot then downhill from there. It used to be the other way around.

Hahah yeah 20 years ago , I still have all the series and watch some episodes on a crappy afternoon. Yup still get a hell of a laugh out of them even now. First series was the best , Episode "smells". when they are at the pub and Richie points at the "bird" sitting at the table and goes "right that ones mine". Hahahaha I laugh just thinking about it.

andrew027: The Walking Dead. Very little seems to happen in each episode these days, and somehow the characters seem to get more one dimensional as it goes on. But... can't. stop. watching.

soon you'll watch it just to see what the zombies get upto

Handle9: The Newsroom and Studio 60. Both so pretentious, up themselves and totally Sorkin at his worst but can't stop watching. Until they got cancelled.

I'm impressed you made it through all episodes of The Newsroom. I'd heard great things about it from a cousin (it was mentioned in the same breath as my favourite series of all time - The Wire), so we tried one episode - and seriously we didn't even make it through that! Totally agree with your verdict of it, but given it's too po-faced and 'intelligent' to be trash TV we didn't even get a guilty pleasure out of watching it.

I've watched everything Sorkin has done, from Sportsnight to the Newsroom. Somewhere along the way he just go so totally up himself that he started just writing absolute nonsense. With great rhythmical dialogue. He really is quite bizarre but I just can't help myself. It really is a contrast with some of the incredibly charming stuff he wrote in Sportsnight and the West Wing.

Is he stoned when he does it, I hear it's all the rage. Personally I couldn't imagine making something better with drugs!

Jeepers. Sorkin is a God! The Newsroom is seriously, my utterly favourite show second only to the West Wing. Third best of all time was probably sports night.

Each to their own.. I guess....
