Was just out walking for lunch and saw the advert at the George St, Dunedin

Doing something like swapping the fries for a hash brown in a combo would be something I would be interested in, though I never eat McDonalds when I am "at home" (only away from home)

That's got to beat rocking in to Maccas at 1025 on ANZAC day after dawn parade and some quad bike training, looking forward to a breakfast only to have the menus roll over at 1030 exactly while we were still waiting in the queue and getting the "sorry, we can't serve breakfast now".

joker97: I don't understand why a piece of oily hashbrown costs what $2.50?

Materials, preparation, cooking, labour, convenience and BEING DAMNED DELICIOUS probably have something to do with it. If I get a McMuffin/hash brown/coffee combo, I usually get an extra hash brown.

The hash browns are amazing, possibly my favourite bit of McDonalds fare actually. I would be all over swapping combo fries for has browns!

Yeah but BK don't have the nyc Benedict bagel.

No bagel hungerbuster on the touchscreen when I had breakfast at 4pm today. Didnt feel like going to the counter.

Large Hashbites

You can get 2x small hashbites for $3 by using a coupon. You'd probably get more than you do with a large. Haven't had them so I can't say.

Number one rule when going to BK, always use the coupons.

It still baffles me why they don't offer chicken for their create your taste burgers. I'm not a beef fan.

I was in the Gold Coast 2 months ago and they offered chicken on their create your taste burgers there and it was by far the best burger I've had in a long time! Hurry up NZ

They can't get the Soylent Green Chicken substitute formula quite right?

They're trialing chicken at a few, hopefully it won't be too long. If you ask them nicely they might be able to make it with chicken for you.

While they don't have a gluten free bun, they offer a lettuce wrap option.

@geektastic I also cannot stand raw onion. The little ones they use on cheeseburgers are okay though

Yes I agree, the smaller ones are not that bad. Nice caramelised ones fried in butter would be nicer still...!

They actually do (or did until recently) have caramelised onions for their clubhouse and create your taste burgers. They also have red onion

We were training and decided to pop in for brunch after that.
