I have a UE Boom at work but nothing for at home
I currently use headphones or the phone's speakers if out and about, in my studio I use my very old CD player which takes up a huge amount of space on my desk!
Into Xbox, knitting, spinning yarn, and my family. Love my Android smartphone!
I use my Windows 640. Tts barely audible in the shower but I can always guess what song its playing..
Would put this as a semi-permanent fixture in my boat. Currently, has a couple of car speakers and a head unit hanging by a wire. All of which is getting really rusty from the salt. (and it's only been in since late last summer)
Current speakers need a bit of updating, to say the least!

a pair of bluetooth sony noise cancelling headphones at work (MDRZX750BN) or the rare instance I'm on a plane without the children.
no chance to listen to anything decent in the car or at home with the kids around!
being able to take something portable to the man cave... now that would certainly be a welcome change!
For movies we either use the built in Netflix client in out LG Smart TV, or the built in Plex client to access my Plex Media Server running on my primary Ubuntu desktop (mostly kids movies). The TV is connected to a Linksys WRT54g running DD-WRT as a client bridge to our main wireless AP.
We also have a 2nd Gen Apple TV for renting recent releases on the odd occasion, plus a tonne of old DVDs that still get whipped out occasionally..
For music we are bit old school and mostly listen to FM on the built in tuner in our surround sound system. But we do also have a pokey little $15 bluetooth speaker in the shower, my wife streams her music off her iPhone, I stream Radio Sport off mine!
Would love a decent powerful bluetooth unit to use as an outdoor speak for our back deck/garden for the summer BBQs!!

At work I use headphones ..sometimes not even plugged in (no one speaks to you when you have headphones in at your desk) at home I cast via my TV unless the kids are watching netflix :)
8 years ago I bought this Bose LifeStyle 18 Series III
For my 40th Birthday & have loved it.
the package included external all weather speakers
& amplifier & they have taken a hammering in the
windy Wellington environment.

time for some new technology

I mostly use headphones, or a scummy pair of old PC speakers upstairs. A decent Bluetooth speaker would be awesome, as long as I can find a way to keep the kids from disappearing it.
Currently using some Sennheiser HD 598's, but they make it hard to watch with other people.
Sounds good. For music currently just use an Ipod classic with headphones on the train/bus, or a cheap set of Ipod speakers I got from Countdown years ago at home, still going strong.
For movies generally PS3 for bluray/Netflix etc with a 3D LG smart TV.
