I used to know a guy whose name is Richard Pullar.
I know a Woodcock. Who used to work at NZ Pork. On Dixon Street.
Have a Peter Pusey at work, unfortunate when we use last names at work :)
We had a (female) Titze at work.
The current Chief Constable of the Metropolitan Police in London is called Cressida Dick.
It's also interesting how names are geographic, especially christian names.

The Lord Chief Justice in the UK between 2008 and 2013 was called Lord Judge.
I kid you not.

Also, some names don't travel well between countries/languages.
Looking at an ancestor family tree I see a Kuntz.
OK, I know it would be pronounced a little more acceptably in Germany, but it still would be the source of much cruel mirth in an English speaking country (damn, did it again!!).
Years ago I was often amused by the signwriting on a van - "J. S. Pipe - Plumber"
I later learnt that he had a son named Dwayne.
My mum told me that when she worked for ASB, there was some manager called Charles Dick (I think it was Charles). Anyway, his wife's name was Gay.
I heard of someone who was called Ben Down. Apparently he had two brothers, Bob and Neal. Don't know how much of that, if any, to believe, but makes a good story.
My cousin just told me her father served with a Major Paine.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
