I purchased a ream of paper from Warehouse Stationary on Monday just past.... I still have had their confirmation email or any other acknowledgment email whatsoever and i've been charged! (I have no idea of my order number.. I'll give em another couple days)......

I really need a hair cut... I'd been putting it off pre pandemic for too long anyway, and then didn't want to be in close contact with people as things started to get worse, and then we were locked down. Net result is my hair is too thick and bushy for the forseeable future.

Extra winter warmth I guess?

I knew my lack of personal style would be an asset to me one day.

My hair cut hasn't changed in 21yrs and I still have the same set of professional Wahl clippers I bought when I first started cutting my hair this short all those years ago. Freshly trimmed this morning and looking quite dapper if I say so myself among the the un-cut masses.

Yeah had seen that before I posted hence why I said "nearly all places". Prefer a known brand. HN now have some in their essential list.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

I had a look at what they are selling, and wonder how a bail of insulation is considered essential at this time for consumer DIYers?. Getting up into an attic would be quite high risk of injury for DIY I would have thought. Also I understand people can't just remove wall linings to install it without council checking it and councils building departments appear to be closed at the moment. Can understand it though for essential repairs by building professionals, eg a roof gets ripped off, or government essential building needs insulation.

There are quite a few videos on youtube showing how cut your own hair. Luckily I got mine done a few weeks before lockdown. I saw in China people are cutting hair outside in hazmat suits.

not sure why Easter Eggs are an essential item but Warehouse are selling them and they are selling out quicker than you can place an order.

It is likely because the Easter Bunny was yesterday considered to be an essential worker by the PM.

But you can also buy them in Super markets I imagine, much like a lot of junk food that is still sold in supermarkets.

It's a great question - the answer is that MBIE provided guidance around ensuring houses are warm and dry for people to live in during lockdown and this includes insulation. Agree it's perhaps not necessarily the wisest thing for a DIYer to be installing during lockdown. No consent required for floor or ceiling insulation but consent is generally required for wall insulation.
