Behodar:

Technically I think you could do it anyway, as I believe the moment money has changed hands (i.e. "Accepted" has appeared) then the transaction is complete and the goods are yours. Usually I would hang around and press No, and I'd even occasionally put the voucher in the bin, but sometimes I'd just walk away anyway.

I think they've also  flipped the time-out option to No,
Once you get the "do you want a receipt Yes/no"  there will be no receipt unless the consumer actively pushes "yes"

After they ditched the anonymous plastic OneCards and made the app download & account registration compulsory, I downloaded the app just long enough to create an account using a fake name, burner email address etc. Got issued an Everyday Rewards barcode, screenshot it, saved it to my phone in it's own album

Wonder if it will be like some other apps where the barcode is dynamic so you need to open the app every single time you shop.

It's not currently - I've been using it for the last couple of years with no issue.

Countdown Onecard, New World Club card, and PaknSave Sticky cards are all in my Google Wallet. And therefore, are available on my Oppo watch.
So I just scan the appropriate bar code off my watch. No seperate apps required. I still get all the discounts that are on offer without having to open any app other than a google wallet. And that is just one button push away on my watch.

Hoping this new scheme from PaknSave etc will operate the same way.

Was just about to reinforce this. You dont need 100Mb+ companion apps for drawing the barcode. Google wallet/supercards native support as long as you got the acct number or barcode details.

Same with Z energy (enter as shell card). The only pain is caltex as it uses dynamic QRs that change.

Woolworths rewards card is in my Apple Wallet - don't even need to scan it - it's contactless. Quite a nice feature.

For those of you that have set up a new Club Plus account, check to see if you can still access your existing New World Club Card account.

In my case, I can no longer access my New World account, which also means I can't access the card / barcode via the smartphone app. The app has logged me out and I can't log in to it.

Doing a password reset fails as their system tells me the password I have just set is incorrect, which is bollocks.

I am waiting on reply to query from New World support.

I applied to "join" this morning, and all went well (according to them) after filling in name, email address etc etc.

Got an email confirming this too.

Went to order a plastic card for new Club+, and that too went through OK.  HOWEVER, my wife and I have duplicate cards and there did not appear anywhere to ask for more than one replacement card .

I've sent a query to their Support email address.

Best case: just scan it into an independent app like supercards and use it on your phone

Worst case and you need a physical card: photocopy the new bar code, cut it out and tape it over your existing clubcard one and just keep using that...

I saved a screenshot of my partner's app bar code as a pinned note on my iPhone. Low tech, works a treat for both current NW and Woolworths.

This from Club card.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding Club+. At this stage, we are not introducing dynamic pricing for online shopping within Club+, and we do not currently have plans to implement this in the near future.

So good news for now, but aka: never say never.

Will do. I suspect that their support is overwhelmed at present.

I can sign into New World and Pak & Sav using club plus now. It had log in with club plus on log in screen.

I did update New World application to latest one.

Pak & Sav had old log in which failed, then tried again ( might have been after closing application) and it came up with log in using club plus.

Looks like for logging in is active now, earlier then launch date.
