c71931f:hellonearthisman: I didn't get pushie sale people an PN HN, they where great.
Battery life, I charged it yesterday, use it 3hours last night and 3 more hours today and still 16mins of batter life. Was mainly using browser and a couple of hours of Total Annihilation. So the batteries seem to be like the rest of the machine, total mint as.
How long would the slightly better 6 cell battery you can get, last for?9 hours?that'd be awesome
IMHO i would have prefered the Asus over the HP,which happened
Have you tried BatteryBar on your Asus?
Oh and according to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01868520&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=4033291 , the hp can only have 1gb max ram..so being able to have 2gb in the asus is also something better..
5loth: i assume those who aren't happy with the Asus are just going to get their money back?

What I fail to understand is how anybody could be unhappy with a $288 Asus. It represents a true bargain!
