Pinky01: Hi All,
First time posting here, Love to read all the info share by others.
Now I have applied for citizenship on 12feb 2021. Case officer email 15/12/2022 . Asked for new digital photo to upload as part of Identification. Required some document which provided same day and some next day. Got email for confirm details on same day as 16/12/2022, I confirmed that. Since that Nothing come back, Anyone have idea what will happen next ? Thanks in advance

usually you are waiting for approved letter email , which it usually is sent on Tuesday, so maybe tomorrow or next week, did you apply online or paper application ?

I call DIA yesterday and they said I have case officer allocated on my file but strange I didn't receive any email that I have case officer

you don't get email when your application get allocated , you get email when your application almost done working on it, which is confirm detail or if there is something wrong or missing

I have received approval email on 18/01/2022 , Which was Tuesday. Takes About 2 weeks after confirm details. Take out Holiday Period. Now Another email came that Certificate due to print on 25th of Jan 2022. Anyone have idea how long that will take to arrive after printed? Thanks

one or two days , and you can apply for passport on 25th of Jan if you want too

Ours was due to be printed on 22nd December but it wasn't and we didn't receive it until the 15th January. As long as you have the certificate number you can apply for your passport on the day it's printed.

We applied for our passports on 7th January and still waiting. Apparently they are taking a couple of days extra to process.

Hi new member here. I applied for citizenship 12 of February 2021 and DIA has allocated a case officer for my application in 22 of December 2021, however I did not hear from the case officer yet. Is there any member here who got approved without a single message from the CO? I am wondering why I did not receive confirmation of details email ?

@loiicyy Assuming they have the right contact details for you and you've checked your spam mail just in case, my advice is sit back and relax. They'll contact you in due course when they're processing your application. (What's the rush?) You say a CO was allocated on 22 Dec. We've just had the Christmas break, he/she was probably on holiday for 2, 3 or even 4 weeks. Who knows, maybe the information they have for you is sufficient and your approval will turn up in your inbox in a few days or weeks time.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
