I have just bought some cheap ones instead of the ankers that never arrived.

They are 5 ports, 2 are called super charger and 3 are normal. The super carger one just seems to ID as more amps to apple stuff, they all seem to work the same on my other devices.

I like these because it has an external mains to 12v adapter, and then the part with the ports is smaller.

These ones:

One has arrived, still waiting on the others

If anyone wants either of these devices let me know, my need for them has ceased to exist

networkn: How much?

Either would cost about $50nzd landed, both are in mint condition, less than 6 months old and not seen much use, $40 each delivered.

Here is a good deal now on Amazon: get the Anker 6-port Desktop charger and you can add a free 5200mAh external battery pack (scroll down to add the white/black options)

Greg: Any chance you want to order two and share freight? :) I'd have mine in white by preference.

Ordered two of the new Anker 6-port Desktop charger, one for myself and one for networkn. They ship directly to NZ addresses so no need for YouShop. The free battery packs is now only available in white.

I wish I had more than 2 devices (1 is a battery) that need charging, I love those Anker chargers so much!

Yep. Have three chargers here. I think I might be addicted. Mind you one has got two non-working ports (it was one of the early ones). So good for travelling.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I have so many devices that need charging or running off USB now.

I have some 5 port ones off ebay that work ok, but they share the stepdowns between ports so they sometimes get into a situation where 2 devices will fight for the current - find that with 2 wireless charging stands I have to be careful which ports I use. But the killer with them is if the AC goes out, the thing turns off till I press a button on it. They have an external 12v brick and the same box is sold with a cigerette lead for car use. If you have a switched car lighter I can imagine that it would get really annoying turning it back on everytime you started the car.

So these will replace those ebay ones on my computer desk and bedsides for the tablets, phones, etc. I have enough battery packs already but more is never a bad thing.
