mattwnz:andrewNZ: Your two options are very similar to the two I have. There is no contest, the heads on the more expensive one give a significantly faster and better shave.
That is true, the triple head one will be far superior, and I have one of them with the triple heads. But to be honest, I don't find that the rotary ones compare to the braun syncro foil one I have, which is over 10 years old. It's RRP was anout $650, but it was on special at the time for $250. The philips isn't good for around the neck, while the braun is good everywhere, and for about $60 you can get a new head and foil for it which makes it like new. Also has a LCD screen and countdown timer of minutes remaining, which the philips don't have. ALthough they seem to have removed LCDs on newer models, which maybe to reduce cost/ increase margins.

freitasm: This is the Nivea foam I am using with the Philips - mind you the Series 9000 is waterproof so I shave under the shower too.
