NokiaRocks: I got a book on how to look 10 years younger.

Dear Lord, then people will think I'm dating an 11 year old!

mjb: What's the deal with the OP being inactive now? some sort of sock account from a 1-day marketroid?

Completely out of topic, but since this was asked on Page 2, and my reply was "he was a dirty spammer", you can now read more here.

Basically he got a gig as blogger with some Australian tech blog, posted a "news" item saying his New Zealand hosting company was bought by Microsoft and then got booted from that blog.

At the same time here on Geekzone he had a signature link to his New Zealand company and was simply posting irrelevant comments on Geekzone to get his signature to show.

I hope you guys understand our moderator team is really good at spotting those subtle spam attempts and trolls, so when you see "Inactive User" it's for no light reason.

Yet another teenager who thinks with a ten dollar reseller account from the US and a WordPress theme from some free template site they will rack in the big bucks. Whats going to happen? In three months time "Luke" will close up shop after he's conned a few people out of a couple of yearly subscriptions. I wonder if he's reimbersing his mum/dad for the hosting fees on her CC?

Interestingly the contact address in the WHOIS goes to a jwe.co.nz, which is an electrical company out of Tauranga (his parents firm?). The site was designed by "Lukes Web Design". The Chandler site is hosted on a HostGator Reseller account in the US using "private" name servers off of websitewelcome.com which is HostGator's annomoyous name server. His hosting "company" is not a registered company in NZ, nor is his webdesign company. The "hosting company" website was set up two weeks and is missing large parts of its content (eg About Us Page). Undecided

Sorry for my rant on this but its rogue kids like this which damage business confidence in smaller hosting firms. Give it three months and there will be nothing but bad reviews of "Chandler Hosting" if it exsists that long.

PS: I have run and been heavily involved in web hosting over the last 10 years, and I've seen setup's like this too many times to count. They never last!

I have heard of two people so getting theres so far. One was a body shaping stick (dont actually know what that is) and the other was a rake type thing, or at least thats how it was described to me. My status is still set at 'currently unavailable' so I'm starting to get really worried about the quality of my crap.

Look on the bright side: the delay could be due to them sending you something big. Like a ping pong table, or maybe livestock.

I'm told by 1-day.co.nz that the delay is due to the huge response to the crap sale. They have staff working overtime and they're running the courier off their feet. The say that status unavailable means they haven't filled it yet, but they will, so give them 2-3 more business days.
