Good luck! I wonder how many people will cotton onto this before the end of the day!

Will pick up a kinect from DSE on way home from work, hopefully they don't sell out at $99. Also just bought a copy of EA Sports off mighty ape for $43 delivered. Has a heart rate monitor and a few other things so should be fun for exercise. The Mrs loves that stuff so hopefully that will get her off my back :)

I'm considering picking up another copy too.  I have it on my PS3 and it is good, lost 8kg over the 9 week program.  So have hit my goal weight, but I'd like to see how the Kinect handles it without the two other sensors

Yeah for $40 how can you go wrong? I wonder if a new version is coming out seeing as it is on closeout at DSE too.

Could well be due for V3, since the other two were launched in Nov 2009/2010

If anyone needs a HDD adapter and wants it cheaper and delivered quicker than the ones on Trademe:
http://bit.ly/vMsEXq

Arrives in about 7 days(vs the ones on trademe currently shipping after new years) and is only $7.60NZD including shipping

All you need is a spare laptop HDD

polglase: Friends are looking for the cheapest 50" plus Full HD screen they can find in the sales... doesn't need to be 3D.

Any suggestions?

I noticed some of the real cheap 50" plasmas are only 720 sets  not 1080..

The cheapest I've found is the LG 50PV250 at Harvey Norman for $1098. It seems like a good basic set but it only has one HDMI input on the back (and one on the side).

I don't know where but apparently they do. Just go in and try, say you know of someone in Alexandra and Hamilton that got it that way.

Yeah, that's what caught their eye, I was trying to find a 1080 option but they have gone ahead and purchased the Panasonic THP50X30Z from Norman Ross for $791 with a bluray player.... it is 1024x768, but it is a cheap price for a 50"

That's a good price, they ended up buying a 768 line model about an hour ago, thanks anyway!

^ Seems like a waste to buy the blu-ray player because the TV they have purchased cannot even do 720P!

Do whatever you want to do man.
