Behodar:

If you scroll to near the bottom of https://www.arnotts.com/brands/farmbake, there is a little "red dots" scroller, and moving to the second/middle entry

and then you go east through the desert until you find the singing bush, then you say the magic chant and fire one shot into the air which will summon the invisible swordsman, and that will show you the way to the Golden Crunch biscuits.

I don't know why people complain that web sites are so difficult to navigate.

Thanks! I'd probably never have noticed that if you hadn't told me.

It's been hot when cooking recently. Air is blowing a spiderweb around near the top of the rangehood. Why?

I remove the rangehood cover and have a look. The exhaust hose is detached at the motor end. I reassemble it, add some temporary tape to hold the hose on, taped up a small hole near the base of the hose, started it up. The pressure expanded the hose length like a distended balloon. This does not look right at all. Check outside. Good pressure coming out. It's a 100mm outlet. Back to look at the internals. It looks like the motor output might be 150mm, and it looks like it has a ring adaptor on it for 100 mm hose or thereabouts.

This was a new install 5 years ago. Why on earth would the installer use an adaptor for a new installation instead of using 150mm all the way?

Because 100mm ducting and fittings are more common and cheaper than 150mm?  Or because that was all they had in the van?

$20 says it was the latter.

That explanation fits perfectly, with the missing hose clamp.

A flying vehicle of some form has flown over our building near Bunnings in Grey Lynn, twice. Just before 1pm.

Does anyone know what it was and what height it was at?

Felt like it was very low.

There is more than one Bunnings in the world, so can you be more specific?

No, I want you to research all planes that went over all Bunnings in the last 2 hours :)

Sorry, yes I am unsure how I missed that detail. Grey Lynn.

Yep it’s one of the outgoing Hercs - has twice flown very low over us in Mairangi Bay half an hour or so ago.

Edit: TBH I don’t know for sure if it was the old or new ones - was working outside and didn’t check on FR24.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

One of my team said it was a Passenger jet, and I suppose, all aircraft are such, but that wasn't what I think he meant. :)

Don't we have 'this post was edited' warnings? I would suspect secret mod powers but I'm not sure if you're actually a mod.

I think you can see a warning if your post was edited; but no-one else does.
