Howzat?! 5 days door to door using standard Aliexpress shipping! I think I must have gotten lucky as I ordered 3 things at the same time and this one came straight here, the other 2 have been consolidated and will come as a separate package. The senders of the first package must live next door to the airport or something 😄

Dammit, now every time I order something from Ali with a month-long wait up ahead I'll be jealous of this.

Last two orders I have received have turned up in a week.  Seems shipping is better than ever!

I was just showing someone my previous purchases and half the items are noticeably more expensive.

Not sure if it's just part of the variability. But some things are considerably higher, as well as competing vendors.

Finally got 2x screen protectors sent August 10th this week. Didn't even know they had a 75 day delivery refund policy so never tried to refund.

Really odd, you can check my tracking number here

Yeah standard aliexpress shipping is super fast now

Dispatched on 8th, was in NZ on 14th at curier depot, but only delivered just now on 17th.

I have another 2 orders shipped with standard aliexpress. Hopefully will be as quick to arrive.

Anyone shipped a battery recently? ... whats a good shipping method.

The last battery I got shipped ended up touring through somewhere like Uzbekistan (for several months)

getting batts is very hit & miss .
They need to be shipped as dangerous goods . If not labeled as such & sent appropriately , they will be blocked at the Ch border if detected  (I had that ) , or confiscated at the NZ boarder if detected (I know of that happening) .

Some sellers just put them in a plastic courier bag & send anyway, sometimes declaring them as something else.
Or they send via some 3rd country that doesnt care .

Ive had batts sent in a plastic bag & arrive crushed . It was a miracle they didnt start a fire in the planes cargo hold (not an exaggeration)

Bought clothes from about six different places last week, all so far suggesting early-mid Feb is the expected delivery date.

Will be interesting to see whether they come through a bit sooner than that.

Recent AliExpress Standard order showed tracking number LPxxxxxxxxxSG (Singapore post??). 2 weeks now and stuck at "HK. hand over to airline".

Definitely slower than 910xxxxxxxxxxx

Refunds can take a few days but normally they're processed quickly and show up on your credit card statement within a day or two.

I had a seller "forget" about the refund, so I put in a dispute at the 90 day mark.

Usually they just seem to forget to send stuff I find....

I had a couple of orders come in about 3 weeks but now it's back to delays, delays.

At the NZ end if the tracking is to be believed.
