Ordered two identical packages from the same seller, one to Wellington and one to Brisbane on 25/1. The Brisbane one arrived three days ago, the Welly one is possibly a plane to NZ? Not enough planes with space coming here maybe?
Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD. https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Ordered a TV Remote on Jan 22, seller cancelled the order on the 7th... so where's the refund?!
Refunds can take a few days but normally they're processed quickly and show up on your credit card statement within a day or two.
No sign of it yet. I guess they hope I'll forgot about it.
Had a good run late last year with items arriving within 3 weeks, now it seems to have gone to the pack again. Another item supposedly landed in Auckland on the 6th. we shall see.
Just wondering if people have the same experience on AliExpress with 5 star seller but with questionable business practices.
I bought a rechargeable battery for a tool from a seller which has pretty good rating on the surface. The battery is DOA as it won't charge on the original charger. Contacted the seller and file a dispute with AliX at the same time. Seller only responded after repeated chasing. AliX extended the dispute because of the New Year period. I proposed a replacement and a new tracking number. Seller insisted that I have to cancel the dispute first before a replacement is sent.
I explained to the seller that once I have cancelled the dispute then I am relying on seller's good faith which I did not see any as he would not send a replacement. It was a stalemate until AliX dispute period ended and an automatic refund is issued. Upon reading the 5 star feedback more closely, I discovered that despite the 5 star rating, a good number have say they received dead battery which contradicts the 5 star rating. It just goes to show that one cannot rely on feedback rating on AliX and unless you have dealt with the same seller before, it is unwise to cancel a dispute. This is unfortunate as my 18 months experience with AliX has generally been good though I limit purchase to no more than $60 to $100 knowing the risks.
Had 200 FFP2 masks arrive from Ali yesterday, took a grand total of 4 weeks and 4 days to arrive. Other than it taking 3 days for the seller to ship them it was pretty smooth sailing from there. I've had one defective mask so far (ear loop broke almost straight away), the rest I've checked out/distributed to whanau have all been fine.
2.5 weeks for 100 masks. Pretty average time frame.
Supposedly delivered today. But in classic NZ Post fashion, signed for by the address and the package is nowhere to be found.
A week for my most recent purchase to turn up. But the seller did send me a PM asking for more money to cover shipping costs. Which I ignored of course. Packaging was garbage, box basically destroyed but then again the product was too big for the box in the first place soooo......
My latest AE purchase got stuck with "MPI Import Entry required" status.
No contact so far from MPI. I am not even sure if they know my email.
There should be my phone number on the label. Do they call?

I had that on one of my orders
After a week+ of nothing , it just proceeded to the handover to courier & was delivered

Thanks.
My one is almost 2 weeks now. Strange thing is that another parcel that was sent via China post was delivered just fine.
Aliexpress standard shipping is stuck at customs
neb: Well this is going to be interesting, tracking info for something I ordered over a month ago, one from Aliexpress directly, one from the carrier
The seller refunded the price, no questions asked. Still annoying that I waited over a month while it went to the opposite side of the world, although now I've come up with a possibly better solution to replace it.
Yanwen is delivered by NZ Post, it can sit doing nothing for a long time before it gets into the NZ Post system, very low priority I expect
It can sit around for... a long time. I wouldn't be too surprised if it did eventually turn up, at some point, then again it might not. I typically avoid Yanwen if I can!
You can try tracking with https://parcelsapp.com/en and that might tell you if it got a new tracking number from NZ Post.

Thanks! Already using the Parcelsapp, um, app, it's showing nothing since arriving in NZ, and several other trackers are showing nothing either.
