Ordered some screws and cables 24/04 and delivered today (09/05). Pretty happy with that, particularly given the lockdowns etc. in China at the moment.

I just ordered some "lego" and it took 9 days to get here....totally thought the shipping updates were a hoax and was expecting to never receive it....the universe has just been turned upside down and no longer makes sense.

Seems to have got bad again for me in the past month with orders timing out and having to do a dispute.  multiple small items currently in 'Arrived at Destination Country' a month+ ago.

I have the same thing, with "Yanwen Economic Air Mail". Sent 20th April, arrived in NZ 21 May, marked as "out for delivery" but with "Sorry, logistics delay, we will delivery it to you as soon as possible.". I'll give it another week before I open a dispute.

The last item I had shipped with Yanwen took 3 months to the day.

Latest Cainiao package took around 32 days, via Taiwan. At the slower end of what I have been experiencing using that service, but still acceptable.

Anyone shipped via AliExpress Standard Shipping recently? That's still my preference for items I don't want to wait for or that may be damaged in transit.

If they use a 91... tracking code, it is very quick (up to 3 weeks)

Alas, some sellers have been redirecting via a generic carrier instead, that is taking over 40 days.

Cainiao Super Economy Global has been very good .. they have been combining packages and door to door is 2 to 3 weeks.

I'm at 2 months for Yanwen Economic Air Mail, it's been out for delivery since 21 March. How can it take so long once it hits NZ?! I'm probably going to have to order more from Amazon or buy locally (label maker tape) if this takes another month to arrive. I tried to open a dispute but since it's still a status related to delivery I can't yet.

You'll probably never get it, I contacted Yanwen and they said refer to local agent, contacted the local agent and they said they have no way to track it since apparently they don't deal with shipping. I had a batch of stuff ordered around Jan-Feb that arrived in NZ and hasn't moved since then, while a pile of orders in the last few weeks have all been delivered within 2-3 weeks.

So you need to make sure you always order from Ali and then file a not-received dispute at the end of the delivery time, if you order from eBay they just close the dispute after a week or two.

I wonder if they're fake shipments, the seller knows they fall into a black hole in NZ so they give a tracking number and then hope that, with smaller purchases, people won't dispute it.

I've had a mixed bag with Yanwen, mostly on the bad side.

A couple I have got refunds from Ali, then they turned up together several months later.

Ok thanks, I'll dispute it when I can, and I'll order elsewhere. They might turn up eventually but I won't hold my breath.

In many cases it's actually cheaper to order things from Amazon AU than NZ because the Amazon shipping is so cheap, whereas shipping within NZ is really quite expensive. I saw somewhere that postage is going up again - good way to stop people using it!

I have had a whole lot from about 4 months back just disappear once they claimed to be arrived in NZ. The sellers ask me to go to the local post shop and ask, like that's something that they could ever help with. I just put in a dispute and ignore their pleading about it.

One of them eventually turned up with a totally different tracking number on it to what was supplied on the top sticker, and I wasn't able to get it off to see if the first one was underneath or not.

the last few items have been really quick, under 10 days, and even though i requested Aliexpress standard shipping they have all been sent Singapore Post.

I just had the missing-for-the-longest-time order turn up, last tracking update was Arrived NZ on 25 March, then nothing for almost three months, and now it's appeared. No sign of relabelling/reticketing or consolidation or anything else, just a three month gap between arriving in NZ and delivery.

Just had one arrived that had given up on too, arrived in NZ April.  On closer look all of the troublesome orders have been Yanwen Economic Air Mail
