I suspect it may have been a mistake to reduce the number of secure residential psychiatric beds way back in the 1980s.......

I found the air force patent for the "mind control" device, it does actually seem like tones can be transmitted, but not voice, but that is interesting.

Noticed what appears to be a Protest on the corner of Te Rapa Road / Wairere Drive this morning (directly opposite BK).
I couldn't work out what they were protesting against but a guy I work with managed to get this pic:

One of those signs mentions Geo engineering. These nutters , among other things, are paranoid about vapour trails calling them Chemtrails. Apparently the government is covertly spraying stuff on us to "control the population". No doubt they're affliated to the Mind Control Tower nutters.

I read "Mind Control Towel nutters" and instantly thought we have to always carry our towels as instructed by the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...

Not just Te Rapa. It's a global protest:

(Org home: http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/)

Some people really believe this contrail conspiracy thing.

Edit:

Personally I find this one way less likely than any of the relatively mainstream and kind of fun engineering questions about 911 building collapses and what was known when.

Of 911 I expect all kinds of massive incompetence and stupidity by the U.S government before during and after (maybe even including demolition of building 3 for reasons unknown).

World wide barium spraying? I can't really see how you could organise that one let alone keep it secret.

Surprised no one has referenced this one yet......

Is John Key a shapeshifting reptilian alien

There seems to be an increase in the number of loonies around at the moment?

Probably a product of small voices getting a bigger platform due to the Internet / Social Media rather than more loonies.

To my mind, whilst the fight against totalitarianism is a justified one, these people are focusing on the wrong (imagined) government activities instead of the real issues.

It's also worth thinking for a moment - if Snowden had come out about the NSA's activities without all that evidence to back up his position, everyone would have assumed he was making that up too... It pays not to underestimate a government department with a broad mandate, no oversight and plentiful funding.

And that brings me to MY conspiracy theory... that the governments are giving tacit approval to these pop conspiracy theories (9/11 truth, chemtrails, HARRP etc) because it keeps the busybodies... well, busy.
