The story says an IQ of 150 is required to solve it. Don't want to appear to be a Smart Donkey but I saw the solution in about one minute - and I don't quite have an IQ of 150. I bet a lot of people on this site would see it equally as quickly - so calling BS on the story.

Took about 10 seconds to "solve" (more accurately, spot the pattern) the first time I saw it. It's bordering on clickbait. "Only high IQ people can solve this, can you?"

Saw this one on facebook yesterday, and it lead to some funny answers. People selectively remembering rules from high school, but not the provisos associated with them.

Ironically most could easily (albeit manually) work out what I considered to be the hardest part in the middle.

Depends whether that's a third in the middle, or one divided by three. If the latter, / doesn't have precedence over ÷.
