Just got this email from them, and I didn't order a BOC so it must be to the whole database.

Well Tuesday?s crap sale was fun wasn?t it? We broke another record and managed to keep the website up and running for a full 30 minutes before it packed a sad instead of the usual 30 seconds we?ve managed with BOC?s Parts 1 & 2 for one thing!.
We thought it would pay to drop you all a line to let you know how we?re doing getting the orders out the door and the honest truth is that we?re a little bit swamped at the moment!!!
It seems that our beloved (though sometimes petulant) website decided to pull a prank on us and instead of having 11 000 Bags of Crap available for sale like the last one we did it more than tripled that which means that we now have 35727 orders to get out the door ( we know that because we made ?That Buying Guy? count them all!!! ) So hence our warehouse looks something like this right now??..

We?ve stocked up on No Doze and are working night and day to get your orders out to you but it?s probably going to take us until the middle of next week before we see the factory floor again. So please, please, please be patient with us while we work on getting this stuff out the door.
Important points to note:
1. If your Credit Card payment was accepted but you haven?t received an order confirmation from us Don?t Panic!!! We?ve got your order but one of the well oiled wheels of the 1-day machine temporarily fell off and the e-mail got lost somewhere between us and you (we?re thinking there?s a bunch of the them in that black hole at Calcutta)
2. If you haven?t received an e-mail to say your Bag of Crap is on it?s way then we say again ? Don?t Panic!!! It may not have left the building yet but we promise you will get your order.
3. Please don?t bother calling our friends at Courier Post chasing delivery as if they don?t have it from us yet then they can?t be expected to deliver it can they??!! We recommend that if you haven?t got your order by next Thursday then drop us a line at info@1-day.co.nz and we?ll get onto it pronto.
4. If you?re running the water into your bath and you see 6 humongous Pirhanna swimming around hungrily then DO Panic!!! (it?s got nothing to do with Crap sales or 1-day but we just wanted to distinguish between the appropriate and inappropriate times to panic).
Lastly, folks, we just wanted to say a massive ?Thanks, you all rock!!? for getting behind the spirit of our Bag of Crap sales. Hopefully you?ve enjoyed the mystery of it all and walked away with some absolute bargains. We?ve had fun preparing this for you and once the dust has settled we?ll sit back and reflect on the fabness that is our 1-day customer like you!!
But for now, there?s crap to pack so I?m off!!

Got mine - 4x 2000 mAh AA batteries and a Globe wallet. Happy cause I needed to buy some more rechargeable batteries anyway, so I came out on top regardless :-)

No wonder there was still some available the next morning, was wondering why it took so long to sell out....

1-day BoC = FAIL

Size XXS cycling shorts. Made in Italy mind you. However, who the heck is a size XXS these days? Seriously... anyways, they're up for grabs at cost, in case anyone happens to be miniscule and in need of some shorts.

Also, was expecting my Hershey's to show up today, seeing as I actually got a shipping confirmation on those, but instead I got my unconfirmed BoC.

They said to be patient as these will not be sent out until after the crap sale has been cleared.

But: I actually got my shipping confirmation on the chocolate first. I can see, now that I'm home, that they weren't picked up till this morning, even though I got the email yesterday. Also, on live chat they couldn't answer my question about cocoa solid content cos they were being shipped from an Auckland warehouse, not 1-day HQ. Nvm, delivery tomorrow!

Flatmate also got 2000mAh batteries. They must have had those laying around for a _long_ time. When was the last time any wholesalers would've bought 2000mAh AA's? 2005?

It's basically a raffle, I'd imagine they only have half a dozen "good" things to justify the promise of potentially getting one of them. A pretty good marketing ploy, one which I've admittely bought into twice now :) (I also got 2000mAh batteries last year, which at the time were actually quite useful, although more expensive than I could've purchased 2300mAh ones from a supplier taking shipping into consideration).

I got some car mats, so I'm planning on donating them to our much abused company corolla wagon. Once I've gotten high off the smell of fresh rubber.....

Doesn't beat winning a netbook tho. :)

Raid fly control system
Portable Mozzie Repeller refill
Pair of Bonds Hipster Briefs (medium size)

Useful, if not inspiring. They'll get used so not a total waste of money. Though I do get the impression it was a case of "We've run out of stuff to send....hit up the supermarket!"

I got a Fox Racing Cap. Very very cool. Wont fit me - its kids size, so will re-gift it, maybe to my son.

Very happy.
