HTC Touch2 running windows mobile 6.5 with SBP Shell.
it does the job, but can be painfully slow for no apparent reason sometimes. also every now and then the alert/notifications won't be dismissed and require a reboot to shut it up.
I'm running a HTC Magic, with Cyanogen 6.0 at the moment, although I chop and change ROMs and often try their nightly builds too. I love Android and am happy to change the ROMs at a whim, I've haven't bricked mine yet, although did have an interesting saturday morning trying to get it going after a failed ROM flash. It's looking a bit tatty now, although I've had a full body protector on it since new so the body underneath is virtually unmarked. The only issue I have now with it is with the later ROMs it is getting a bit slow and could really do with a bit more RAM.......
I have a BD BAL BDL8008S dual SIM cellphone I picked up at the end of last year, being the cheapest Bluetooth-capable phone I could get my hands on with short notice.
It's actually a pretty decent phone, for one of those unknown Chinese brands, with a surprisingly good screen (at least under indoor lighting).
Unfortunately, I can't install any software on it, and my co-workers with their Android phones are making me incredibly jealous. I've considered upgrading, but given Android itself appears to be a moving target at this point, with no apparent guarantee of an upgrade path from one Android release to the next, I'm hesitant to spend money replacing a perfectly good phone with one which may soon be outdated.
Now, of course, if I were to win one, that would be a different story. I'd get a guilt-free phone upgrade, and finally be able to educate others on the benefits of Android, plus I'd be the only one on XT, so the ability to do some comparisons between operators would appeal to the office geeks.
Come on, give us a break... everyone else has Androd phones or iPhones, I look so uncool to my peers :)
Currently using an iPhone 3GS, would like to try an android phone, but i dont have the money to buy one, If i got this phone I could give mt wife the iphone then she can play Angry Birds without stealing my phone and running the battery flat!
Somehow I managed to crack the digitizer (the part which sense the touch), without cracking the screen, so I can't really press any buttons which are located on the bottom part of the screen!
Switching between vertical and horizontal works sometimes, but for other times it doesn't do the trick!
I stand out from the crowd with my phone a Nokia 1100. It comes from the land of the dinosaurs. LOL. If someone ask's me to send a pxt I send them one of these :) or ;p and in some cases i send them this ( . Y . )
So if I was to win this phone I would send in my Nokia 1100 to Starship mobile recycling programme to help the kids of the future.
It has a great build quality and look, but laggy as hell, no update for the firmware, a horrible PC interface and I miss having wifi on my phone.
Meanwhile my wife is running a old Nokia e63 which out performs my Samsung in every way, I feel so small and insignificant with my phone and really need to claim back my superiority in the technology stakes otherwise we may need marriage counselling soon!
I impressed with the reviews of android and would love the chance to play around with it on the Milestone.
My current phone is a Motorola RAZR V3x - I have lost count of the years I have been using it. I have had my problems with it but managed to find a solution and it's still going strong. This isn't my actual phone - mine is a light grey - I couldn't take a picture of it because I only have a camera on my moto..
