:D
I thought someone was gunna say I was a pirate. :/ Then it wouldv'e been on!

The fact is bin laden is dead(?)... if he wasn't I'm pretty sure we would have a video from him laughing his tits off about now.

No, I wasn't there, nor were 99.9% of the population. get over it.
The world moves on (with any luck).

Actually, I feel very happy for conspiracy theorists... The time they spend "analyzing" all the "facts" must mean they have no real-life worries, like making ends meet, paying bills, their (or a loved ones) health, etc!

What lucky people!

Well the death of Osama at least stopped Donald Trump from making a right dick of himself - bit*hing about Obama's birth certificate is that the best Trump can do? He should sack his spin doctor. Meanwhile Obama had one better to come back and stop him in his tracks. Osama is dead Trump is probably feeling a little embarrassed.

Every day since the event there are slightly different versions of the story. All these versions come from the same source so far, The US government and administration, adding little bits as the story develops and they see fit.

Media planning for this event would have happened a while ago.

It will likely be years before any independent witnesses tell their story

It will be even longer before individual members of the SEAL team are able to tell their versions without government oversight.

TheUngeek: No burial at see makes 100% perfect sense.
No grave site to be turned into a shrine or place or worship or pilgrimage etc.
Same as happened to Hitler and Eichmann etc

Eichmann who was responsible for far far more deaths than Osama Bin Ladin had a very public trial. That is justice.

Mossad back then always tried to kidnap their targets rather than assasinate them [no so nowdays]

I'll have to check if his trial was in an Israeli election year...

KiwiNZ: He was killed today and buried at sea. Inline with Muslim custom he was buried with a day.

For the conspiracy theorists... (and naysayers) all options are now on the table.
Thanks Chuck

Conspiracy theories & naysayers aside don't you think it sounds rather strange that America would bury his body at sea just to follow Muslim custom??

Sounds odd to me...

And conveniently this all happens around Obama's re-election... lol lol lol

The next US elections are 18 months away. This has nothing to do with the elections. But I guess those tired of JFK, Roswell, Moon landings, Elvis and 2012 will add this to their reading.

For a "mastermind" that guy was an idiot. Living in a compound like that? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-south-asia-13300910

It would be easier for him to adopt what they seem to preach (shave, blend in) and move into New York than to live in Pakistan.

Oh well. Done and dusted. Next?

Is this the same "good guys" who by invading a country on the pretense of Weapons of Mass Destruction [of which there were none] which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocents ?

The "party" I saw on TV outside the Whitehouse didn't include an effigy of him being dragged by men with hats on horseback down the Avenue of the Americas

Hundreds of thousands of innocents....
There is no point in trying to debate with someone who believes the enemys propaganda...
But the point is Saddam had to go. He murdered the hundreds and thousands of innocents. Not America. Hell he did it before 1991.
Saddam was as bad as Hitler. No mistake about it. The only difference was Hitler was more successful in his plans. Osama was right there alongside those two as far as murderous scum go.

Ok, enough of invoking Godwin's Law.

On another note, BBC reports "... officials in Pakistan have launched an inquiry into the failure of intelligence services to locate Osama bin Laden"

Or as someone pointed out to me on Twitter, "My bullshit translator glosses that as 'Officials in Pakistan have launched an inquiry into the failure to warn Osama in time...'"
