Common sense is not as common as you think.

Beccara:

Has anyone used/know of a "YouShop" type service in China for Aliexpress? The DHL/Fedex rates are nuts direct and dont allow any consolidation. Would be nice to get everything shipped internally/repackaged and Fedex'ed

I think you are looking for a freight forwarder. If you Google or search Reddit you will find a bunch of information. I’ve never used one directly, the closest I’ve got is using Wegobuy, which is a consolidation and freight forwarding service but I think it’s primarily for clothes and shoes. There are other alternatives, again Google will help.

I have had several more long expired Singapore parcels turn up. All tiny things in little envelopes.

The horrid order list makes it too hard to scroll back 40+ orders to find if they're even what I ordered so at this point it's 🤷‍♂️ about contacting the sellers and they're all dirt cheap things so not exactly gonna make them go bust.

Still no sign of the package sent using "Yanwen Economic Air Mail" on April 19th. I've gotten a refund and I've given up on it, purchased from Amazon AU. It might turn up eventually.

Hey my package turned up today! Sent 20th April, that's 3.5 months. It had Singapore Post on it, but no useful dates. Way too late, I already purchased elsewhere, and the online tracking has no record of the delivery.

Must be in the same batch as mine from April (mine came last week)

Shipping has always been highly variable for me, never seems to be any rhyme or reason for it.  I haven't purchased from AE in the past couple of months, a combination of not wanting to wait so long for items and being able to find those items from alternate sources.  I've experienced the order consolidation that some members have mentioned, on items such as t-shirts and cell phone cases.

I'm mostly convinced that some AE sellers have a local warehouse holding stock of popular items here in NZ, such has been the unbelievable speed of a few orders.  Either that or the seller's AE store is a front for a NZ-based supplier.

Same here, all Yanwen, all allegedly in NZ in May, delivered within the last week.

As an aside, the woo-woo 5G protection pendant (part of the shipment) with the fancy certificate of authenticity was around four times as radioactive as the ones without, so you definitely want to get the certified authentic woo-woo.

Order placed Aug 4, received today - 12 August. That's Usain Bolt delivery speed for AliExpress! although I'll add that it was Yanwen so perhaps I got lucky.

I placed a order on the same day for 5 items using AliExpress Standard shipping. That package was consolidated and arrived in country yesterday and is apparently in transit to the depot. Now, the consolidation probably adds a little more time to the delivery process but it's still amazing to me that Yanwen beat this package.

My bad. I double checked and it turns out I used Special Line-YW rather than Yanwen for delivery. I know nothing about Special Line-YW and I remain surprised at how quickly it was delivered.

Its either super fast or so long that its getting extensions for delivery these days. Clearly some LIFO warehousing going on somewhere between China and the company that has the PO box at lawence stevens drive they all come from.

Looks like the good times with combined delivery may be numbered.

I had a shipment combined and sent via Singapore Post purgatory almost a couple weeks ago ... with no further updates after leaving China.

Had the same thing happened with ePacket, about a year ago.

Unfortunately any tracking with SG at the end takes a long time to arrive.

It's been like this for a number of years.

Has anyone had this message show when you send a message to a seller? It started yesterday for me and still am seeing this.

"NOTE: The message has not been sent. Please be aware that you are required to comply with local laws & policies."

Even a "hi" gets that message.

Update: Issue relates to any messages I send to any seller.

I've pushed through most of my purchases via CD, and it's always been your typical 9109.. or ..TW tracking number

They have never used Singpost for CD before. I know that service well, and have avoided it like the plague.
