neb: Speaking of Aliexpress, does anyone know anything useful you can do with their coins? Various online forums indicate that they're completely useless in practice (e.g. you can spend a pile of coins to get ten cents off something that you could otherwise get $5 off by buying from the different vendor), and personal experience is also that they're useless, but I thought I'd ask in case anyone has figured out what you can do with them.

I think they are only an incentive to get people to visit the site every day, but they otherwise offer very little benefit. Visiting daily used to count towards your rating and a higher rating is useful for getting quicker handling of disputes. Not sure if that's still the case, but if you're there you might as well click to get coins.

My advice is to shop as you normally would and if you happen to get a few cents off at checkout, be grateful.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing, just seems a waste to have 24,000 coins sitting there unusable.

Which totally weren't obtained using a script or anything.

I'm yet to discover a use for them.

Has anyone tried the Chinese versions of Selleys Knead-it epoxy putty? The Chinese stuff looks identical but costs a fraction of the price, and it's a lot handier than builders bog for small jobs.

Parcel supposedly arrived in NZ 3 weeks ago, not trackable once arrived. Should I write it off and reorder?

I had a package earlier this year that arrived in NZ within two weeks of shipment but took another three months to arrive at my house. Another more recent order came via Caninio or something and it arrived within two weeks. Your package will probably turn up eventually, but it could be a week or could be a year.

If it's Yanwen or Sunyou then it takes around two months between allegedly arriving in NZ and being delivered. You will eventually get it, there's just a huge delay between the alleged arrival and delivery.

Arrived in NZ or arrived in 'destination county'? I've had a lot of notifications saying parcel has arrived in 'destination county' which it turned out was actually China.

Also had parcels that took weeks after arriving in NZ, so maybe give it a little more time?

I had a parcel take three months from Wellington to Auckland, so it may still be coming :)

Optimistically, I'm still still waiting on an Amazon package handed to NZ Post in late '19.

It depends on the tracking service, many will report "destination country" as "where it's eventually supposed to end up" rather than where it actually is. So if it gets to its "destination country" and then there's radio silence for several weeks it's likely it's sitting in a consolidation centre in China and will appear several months later with no further tracking updates.

The slight upside, although it's hard on the sellers whose fault it's not, is that it's fairly easy to claim a refund on the apparently vanished shipment... I've never done this myself because it's not their fault that Ali picks a crappy carrier for them.

Use a tracking site like parcelsapp.com to get a better idea on the location
